For the space-gamers, at least.
A Teenage Wish Fulfilled In This Space MMO Just because of that, I'm interested in Infinity. If they just add explorable space stations, and perhaps the possibility to stroll around your ship, I'd give it a try just for that.

Holy nutsacks, batman!
![]() Totally agree with the features you listed there Arc. I just hope they will go with the combat/non-combat way, as in you can fly a huge freighter and trade if you so choose or fly a big destroyer. Anywho, here's my wishlist for this one: - BIG ships, capital ships, haulers, miners. Nothing better in a space game than to see a huge ship slowly go by. - Trading and dynamic economy. I don't want to see tradelanes that give the same amount of profit every turn like in Freelancer. Supply and demand. - Cities, not just spaceports on the surface but big metropolitans too. If this game will have a faction versus faction versus faction (etc.) gameplay with sector control and such, it would be nice to be able to park an capital ship into the orbit and hammer the cities below. This could then have an impact on the faction that currently controls the sector. - Huge universe. This is pretty much standard for today's space games, so can't see why this would not be the case in Infinity. Tho, it does beg the question; How diverse and unique the planets will be if there is hundreds if not thousands of planets? |

Awesome, don't think this has been done since FFE. Been following Infinity for a while, good to see it's not dead.

omg, that looks amazing. Just one thing I'd add to the previous lists would be the ability to design your own ship
![]() Anybody downloaded this yet? ---> http://www.infinity-universe.com/Inf...d=88&Itemid=54

Having a look round the site it seems that you are at least able to import 3ds models into the game, and there's a news item on lighting inside hangars and ships so it looks like you may be able to explore things more deeply

I'm neither a sci-fi nor an MMO kind of guy, but that video was certainly cool.

If you watch the Infinity Citytest Render they have a massive city and a massive ship. And here's another one: And here's a quick zoom out of a fleet: I have to say this game has me intrigued. Although I would rather see Homeworld 3.

Christ, it's gonna have 200 billion star systems. This has to be the biggest game area in history, surely!
