Hi all,
Am enjoying SH3 after finally getting it last week ( ![]() I'm now looking for something that improves the look of the various sprays around the boat. Bow spray, the wake, even the streams from the waterstream and exhaust mod all look a little chunky. Am using GWX3, SH4 effects for GWX, waterstream and exhaust 2.3.... (plus Thomsens sounds, short morse radio msgs, lifeboats v4, GWX rocket fix and couple of other small mods that I don't believe have a bearing on bowspray). I saw it suggested that nHancer can be used to good effect. Is there anything else that's an in game mod? Game runs full screen at 1920x1600 and I get 100+ fps when on the bridge out at sea, 30-40 in port so have room to move there. Thanks! ![]() |

If your rig has the horsepower (which it seems too) I highly recommend the Manos Environment Pro 3.0. GREAT environment mod!

Is this something that makes the dit-dat-dit sound effect at the beginning of the "neue funkspruch herr kaleun" sound file much shorter? Because I've been meaning to look for or ask about a way to do that.
Usually by the time my radioman finally gets to the point of telling me there's a new message I've already finished reading the darn thing. |

Hi, it's a 1 second sound bite of morse to let you know you have a msg. No spoken words just a brief beep-beep-beep. I was the same when reading msgs with the old sound and with the extra msgs you get with GWX it got old very quickly when on high time compression. There's no readme with the file but the full name is Short Morse Radio Message and i found it here running searches on the forum. -kwm |

Thanks for the info!
BTW have you tried the Mission Orders Lite mod? If you find the number of messages in GWX a bit intrusive, it's worth looking into: Quote:
