Default Can't get the mods working

Sorry if this is wrong section but I need a bit help since I can't get the mods working for some reason. Here is step by step what I did:

-Installed SH
-Downloaded the patch
-Installed JSGME
-Created MODS folder
-Placed all the mods to MODS folder
-Ran JSGME
-Enabled all the mods

And still I can't get those mods working. What am I doing wrong?

Are the JSGME .exe and the Mods folder in the SH5 main directory? If not, place them there and try again.

Here's what I did wrong:

in the MODS-directory I had "double folders".

E.g. I had the mod "Accurate_German_Flags" in this directory:

SH5/MODS/Accurate_German_Flags/Accurate_German_Flags

So I moved it to

SH5/MODS/Accurate_German_Flags

then it worked. You might want to check out if thats the problem in your case.

Your directories should look like this. The first folder in each mod should be 'data'.

It looks just like that.

I can enable mods from JSGME but they do not apply to the game.

I think I recall reading somewhere about mods not working with Vista or Win7, depending on where you install the game. Something about file protection stuff. What operating system are you using and where did you install SH5? Also, what folders to you see in your SH5 directory?

I'm using Win7 and I did not install SH to program files. It's under D:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5.

Folders:

Data
Dials
for_MODS_folder
German text
Included mods from others
MODS

Ok. One thing I can see is "for_MODS_folder". I think there are sub folders in there that are the actual mod and need to pulled out to be in MODS. That mod is packaged a little different than normal.

Ok, I'll try that. Although, that does not explain why I can't get any mods working.

Edit: Did not work..

Well, they gotta be going somewhere. After you install the mods, do you have any folders named 'data' anywhere else? There should be one in Silent Hunter 5 and one in each of the mod folders. You shouldn't have Silent Hunter 5\data\data, for instance

Each mod has it's own data folder and I don't have Silent Hunter 5\data\data.

Quite an annoying problems since I would not want to start playing campaign before getting these mods working..

I'm out of suggestions. The only thing left I can think of is to make sure you activated the mods in JSGME, ie move them from the left window to the right. Silly, but I can't think of anything else.
