Default Does anyone else feel kinda... ripped off?

I am not happy

This game is unfinished. I cannot even play it. It is almost like the Boiling Point game was.

I am not saying anything bad about the developers, but UBI should have more respect to their customers and not to rush their game. I would have gladly waited 1 year more for completed game with all features.

Now the situation is like this. The modders, instead of adding content will repair this game from their spare time.

Never seen this kind of thing happened in the gaming community.

Here take our half ass-ed game and finish it yourself. Give us 50 bucks.

Too bad i cannot return this game. Next time i know better, instead of rushing off and buy the anticipated game i just wait for couple of day-s and see what reviewers say.

I am so incredibly stupid idiot. I could buy a nice present for my wife with this money but nooooo... instead i waste my hard earned money on this half made game that i wont play for a while.

I got a bargain. I didn't get ripped off at all.
I didn't buy it.

It's not the first time buggy unfinished games have been released because
someone thought a deadline was more important than a quality product.
It's not the first time player have complained when this has happened
either.

It is, however, the fist time I have seen it this bad.

It is that damn quantity over quality policy so popular among big companies. Finish one project on time - doesn`t matter if it`s buggy or not, it can be patched, people will buy it anyway and there are new projects to come.

Meh... :/ I was working for some time in the game industry myself and at least I stoppep having delusions.

I seem to be the only one how still remembers SH4. A game so messed up, its still (4 year's later!) not playable. If it wasn't for the then-nice graphics SH4 would have died a guresome death at the bottom of the bargain bin. SH5 in compare is a pristine and flawless product.

I know alot of you guys are angry, but lets keep it leveled.

I agree. There were complaints about /3 and /4 when they were released, and well deserved, too. But, sheesh, I've never seen this level of frustration, bitterness, and anger before as regards SH5....

This game is unfinished ... I love SH4, and if SH5 had the same commands available then I would be much happier. I think SH5 will turn out to be great with mods in the future, but without mods, well ... You can always hope that there will be a major patch to fix/ add the things that we expected to be there in the first place, but we'll see ... to UBIsoft

The reality is this-
If your'er sick of unfinnished games (& DRM), buy a PS3 or a 360.
As a mainstream games platform the PC is something of a sinking ship....

we all want a finely polished sim out the box with no DRM..... but its not the 90's anymore,
its 2010 and simulators are unpopular. casual, retro & mobile gaming is where the money is at.

Such is life.

Cough, Empire Total War, cough. Besides being horrible at release, it CTD'ed about every 20 minutes. Reading about SH5 doesn't exactly convince me to buy it, at all. From what I've been reading it's pretty bad and dumbed down.

Meh, you should have all seen the Codemasters' forums when Dragon Rising was released and turned out not only to be buggy, but also not "Operation Flashpoint" at all. The outcry here is very mild compared to that, although to be fair Subsim is Subsim and the companies' official forums are another thing... Judging by what I've seen in the past Ubi's forum isn't called Ubizoo for nothing.

Maybe because the SH community is more to a niche market unlike OF DR mainstream market? Anyway I went through DR without much hiccups except the dumb AI.

Great!

Now, I have another reason to go back to SH3.

It's funny, when I bought SH4 a few years ago, I found it unplayable and shelved it until a few days ago. It's still wobbly and inferior to SH3.

Now, I find that UBI has forced a release of an unfinished product yet again! I don't know why they couldn't have held fire and let the dev team complete the job. It's not like they're trying to get the Christmas rush or anything.
