Default SHIV and SHV

Do you think SHV will be better than SHIV? What are you looking forward to? What things do you think could be improved in SHIV? and do you think it will be in SHV?

you have nothing to base this on since they have refused to give out any sort of reliable accurate specific info on what sh5 is like so untill the game is released no educated opinion can be given, only guessed at.

i mean we might get sh5 and see an arcade game or something so while speculation is all we have, what entertainment is left in even more speculation?

we are 28 days away and counting

Psst! Your bias is showing!

For me, SH3 is better than SHIV. So it can't really be "on top."

Include SH3 in the poll. Then I'll vote.

I think it'll be better in the since that it has a fully modeled submarine, better graphics but dont think gameplay will be better, esp with the mods for SH 4.Plus I prefer fleetboats

As long as SHV stays infected with DRM/OSP, it isn't going anywhere.
The silence of your wallets will speak loudly.

That hasn't stopped 3000 SH5 critics Go ahead, form an opinion and then use it to bring down the franchise. Hurry, the game comes out in a month.

Neal, you ought to put SubSim off line for an hour or two at random each day so we can all feel we're experiencing a preview....

As for the OP:

SH4: thought it was crap compared with modded SH3

SH5: won't buy it with OSP

The survey is a bit like asking me....

You're 3 feet below the surface in a septic tank. Which do you prefer to open:
A: eyes
B: mouth
C: can't decide

Not to be one of those people, but it baffles me as to why some of the members who have said numerous times that the game is crap and they have no intention of ever buying it still hang around this forum. I really don't understand why they feel the need to tell us that they're not buying the game because of the DRM scheme in every post they make.

Don't get me wrong, you're free to post in any thread you like on the forum, but I just don't understand why they feel the need to.

I think I do it in every 2nd post, or maybe only those that relate to asking for an opinion on it.

Umm, you're joking, right? Pretty much EVERY thread refers to it.

Assuming you're serious, it is referring to the fact that Ubi has decided to design the game so that you must remain connected to a Ubi server via internet for the entire time you play the game, every time you play it.

In other words, you can't play this single player game without being connected to the internet and Ubi; if either is unavailable, the game doesn't work.

When SH5 is reviewed by members here , then i can decide .
I can understand people being upset about the DRM but to ridicule the game before it is even out is beyond me . The thing that annoys me about the DRM most is that UBi may stop support for servers in a few years but its just speculation on my part . The devs have said that SH5 will be the most moddable game in the series (we will see what happens with the DRM with modding ) . I said i would not buy the game but if after the game is out and there is no probs with the DRM then i may buy it . Maybe .
