Default Visual reports on Sub

Hi,

I might be wrong but I think the only way to initiate a visual report (on the Nav Map) from a sub is by the periscope by Marking.
Tried to pass close of a surface contact while being on the bridge of a Sub but it will not give you a Lookout report. I guess this is only happening on the FFG? (I read the doc as well and that it was it seems to me.)

Thank you

Mau

Yes you will only get lookout reports on the frigate.
For the subs there is no lookout report, except by manually marking contacts on the periscope.

You can also manually create a contact. Look on your help screen for the key combination. I use that feature a lot when planning over-the-horizon cruise missile attacks, but you can just as easily use it for visual contacts.
