No, cannot help you. But answers will come ... just wait.
I am running SH3 on my MacBook Pro 15". Works perfectly. The only solution I can think of, is uninstall the game via the DVD, then run regvac and ccleaner, to clean the registry. Good luck! ![]() |

Leftover registry entries possibly? Ccleaner suggestion above looks like a winner to me.

Yeah It might be Registry error's. But I contacted Ubisoft and they said the problem might be background program's runing.

Do asearch for "sh3" in the windows search box and delete every instance. It worked for me, but I had to do it twice--some of them suckers were hidden away.
Hope this helps |

Well if you have any more problems, let us know. And Spike is right, just deleting them right there is bad for your PC. You need to uninstall the game, then delete what is left over unless it's a saved game (doesn't matter what game) you want. Then, type in regedit (what I do for Vista) in the startbar, or click run and type it in and then delete whichever folders are left and reinstall.
It's best, you have the Silent Hunter III 1.4b [Retail] if cd and [Digital] if you downloaded. http://www.ubi.com/US/Games/Info.asp...wnload&dcId=63 I'm glad you got it working again, lets hope it stays that way! |
