I made it to the end

I'm pleased to announce that the war ended and Kaleun Heinz Hechler returned home safe and sound .

I played the entire war with three careers (DiD), with each one starting where the previous ended.

Kapitanleutnant Alfred Eder retired in Aug 1940.
Kapitanleutnant Johann Schwarz died in Feb 1943.
Kapitanleutnant Heinz Hechler survived the war.

I got so hooked up to the late war that I started another career in Dec 1944.

Congratz!

My "Kapitanleutnant" retired in 1941. At SH Commander simulate a realistic career length! I have it too. LOL.

Until now (couple of month's) I never could reach a full career. I die ...

Keep up the good work Meduza

Thanks

I used to die a lot, until I changed my style, avoiding unnecessary risk and taking more care of the crew and boat. Still, I got some decent tonnage.

The first career was done with the Realistic career length turned on, then I turned it off, to see how far I could go.

Good advise, I must avoid unnecessary risks for the future. But when I see large warships together (and I inform BdU) they say "dranblaiben" = remain and follow the warships! Attack them???

How can I (North Sea) at a depth of 30 meters survive with 8 or 10 destroyers!

It's easy for BdU to message me, but I am all alone out there ...
