Default Harbor wall the killer !?

This is realy a laughter through tears but now I know **** realy happens sometimes

After one hard patrol my friend just got his career abandoned because as he says he most probably hit the harbor wall on Ahead Full and on TCx8 The game window was minimized at that time so he couldn't know what happened. The next moment he restored the window it was already too late to change anything..

What a waste!
Is it possible at all to sink yourself like that ?

Its bad enough that it happened once, but I've (er, Bernard has done it twice). Also read a few instances that it happened in RL.

Reseruct yourself and drive on!

after running out of torpedo's in a type two i decided to try and finish the revenge battleship by ramming her.
that bit went ok until it rolled onto my boat and took me under too
ramming can absolutely mean death lol

Harbour walls don't have damage zones, so can't be damaged or destroyed.

A U-boat however........

I hope the Great Balz will only have victorious encounters with harbour walls.

I did it on my first ever patrol, I was plotting a course out of the harbour, I didn't zoom in far enough for the piers etc to appear and plotted a course right through one, I ended up with a sunken bullnosed type II. I'd played SH4 before this and the dock details appear at a lesser zoom as I recall. Needless to say I'm more careful now.
