Default A simple Q for any native english speaker

How do I spell this sign: "@" if I'm giving an english native speaker my e-mail address by telephone?

Is it simply called "at", f.e. "Hitman at hotmail.com"?

Thanks

That would be how I would spell it, but I don't speak English, only American

Use the @ sign. For instance. JohnDoe@Gspotmail.com this is how I send and receive my email addresses. I think it is universally understood this way for emails and the 'at' @ sign when sending what your email address is.

In German some call the @ symbol "Klammeraffe" but I think they'll still understand when you just say "at".

Yes, "at" is the correct way to say it.

Yes but I meant when speaking via telephone, hence the question.

Cheers

When telling someone your e-mail simply say, "YourName at E-mailAddress.com."
