U-46 Sunk off West Coast of Britain -44 crew lost
U-46 Was Dc'ed for over 4 hours by 8 Warships with both electric engines destroyed, compressor not working. Both periscopes destroyed and other damage. The captain set tubes 1 thru 4 for a salvo at a 5 degree spread and blew ballast. All hands were lost in 120m seas. Not Your Grandmothers Mod!
