Default Storm of the Century hits GB

Quote:
Britain braced for commuter chaos as mega-storm is set to dump a month's rain tomorrow

Commuters have been warned to beware treacherous conditions tomorrow as Britain braced itself for a massive storm.

Forecasters say the autumn's first major storm will roll in off the Atlantic around midnight - and lash some areas with a month's rain in a single day.
The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for Wales and the South-West until tomorrow evening, saying that around two inches (50mm) of rain is expected.

And I got the day off suckers. :p

Bring it on I say and don't hold back a drop.

It must be one of those "dynamic weather fronts" that I always see in SH3. Prepare for two and a half weeks of stormy weather.

A month's rainfall in a day? What is a month's rainfall for England? 250mm? (1" in old speak)

Sydney will take it if England doesn't want it, I would love to see the dams full!

250mm = 10"...on that basis you should be experiencing severe flooding instead of near drought conditions

The BBC Weather forecast last night said there would be rain in the early hours of the morning and drying up briefly. I ask the BBC where the hell was it then? Bone bloody dry here and on there map I was in the thick of it, BS. Up to date now and I see very light rain not the heavy stuff they predicted. Once again the BBC has lied so whats new from a Socialist liberal wet behind the ears organization. :rotfl:

Better yet, look out the window. 100% accurate (except in case of ingestion of mind-altering drugs):rotfl:

I am on a roll slagging off the BBC weather.

My area is now dry according to the BBC weather so is it? Not really, moderate rain coming down. :rotfl:

And the BBC has the cheek to stay they got a million pound weather computer that can predict the weather in 100 years times and yet they can not get it right in the here and now. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
