The rumors have been a- rumbling that Fav-ray is going to come out of retirement.
Then I saw this story:

They should let him. I guess now GB is going to use their draft pick. But Brett should have known they were going to do that once he retired. Like Joe Montana he will go somewhere else to play, but there are so many variables going to another team, I doubt he will have those glory days when he was with GB. A Great QB. I wish him the best!

Surprising that Green Bay refuses to release him since the don't want to play him.

They want him to mentor the young guy maybe?

I bet this has something to do with Brett throwing an interception in the Green Bay vs New York Giants playoff game. An interception that most would agree lost the game for Green Bay.

My point is that Brett is blaming the team and management, while Green Bay is saying we might be able to use him on back-up quaterback.
