Here are some pictures of the attack report of HS PAPANIKOLIS (Y-2) against an Italian Convoy on 25 Dec 1940 which resulted in the sinking of the liner FIRENCE (4000tns) and the cargo LIGURIA (7000tns)

If I remember right, the monument is in Pyreaus (sp?).

Yeap, it is in Piraeus in the Hellenic Naval Museum.

Unfortunatelly the Naval Museum and the Naval Park where AVEROF, an 19th century steamer, a big Sailing Ship, the row ship ARGO and a Fletcher class destoyer are, have not been merged yet
