Someone really needs piloting lessons...

Not sure if this has been covered before but I thought that it was worthwhile bringing it up. I started a patrol at Kiel in August 1940. Seconds after the game loaded & just as I was about to get underway, the raumboot (I think that's what it was) collided with the minesweeper & exploded in flames. Thinking that this was a fluke I restarted the patrol and the same thing happened again.:hmm:

I have GWX 2.1 installed, along with the following mods:

GWX 2.1 Bugfix
Lite Harbour Traffic
Interior Diving Angles
No Medals on Crew
Integrated Orders
Cpt. America's Officer Icons
GWX 2.0 Grey Contact Tails
Thomsen "sendoff at the dockside" mod by Payoff
German Submarines music mod

Has anyone else experienced this?

Jokes aside; it could be a mod conflict.. Maybe a silly question, but are you certain that the mods you have listed & activated are compatible with GWX 2.1?

It could have been one of those dates. I have seen collisions happen before in GWX but always put them down to being one-off things. It was only after it happened twice in a row that I decided to mention it.

Most of the mods that are active are ones that came with GWX 2.0. The only active mods that didn't are the Interior Diving Angles (this is GWX compatable though - I checked), Thomsen Dockside Send Off, GWX 2.0 Grey Contact Tails (never had any problems before with that one) & the German Submarines JSGME compatable music mod.

Can someone let me in on the joke: Who the hell is Bernard? Is he a real person or what?...

There are two different uboat escorts in Kiel
One ends on the 16th just before midnight and the other starts just after
The game sometimes confuses itself and still runs both units
Hence the collision

It was originally just a one-shot name selected out of a hat (I don't think Dowly is psychic...psychotic, maybe). It grew into a generic catch-all for excusing our own mistakes.
