hi all
just 1 quest. can i disable radio messages?

You could also leave the radio operators position unfilled.

If by any chance your playing GWX I would recommend Wreford-Browns Mission Orders Lite mod:

maybe making messages_xx.txt files empty could work? not tested yet.

but for me the messages are important for "immersion".

I am not sure it will work. I think some messages are required to set some flags in the game, like England declaring war etc. I think you need those messages for the game to function.

AFAIK the messages are not flagged, they are just designed to be received at exactly the same time as certain game events such as England declaring war. The messages are only messages and deleting every line in the messages file (data/campaigns/campaign/messages_** where ** is en, de or fr) should have no effect on the function of the game.

What you will lose is situational awareness as you will no longer get declarations of war, notification of new ports opening (such as the French ports) or orders to deploy to the Far East.

On balance, I prefer to stick to the lite messages mods so I get essential info but no spam.
