I was just passing by Helogoland island at night on surface to my patrol grid AN29 on 256 TC when suddenly my boat was destroyed by flooding. It just happened too fast I was unable to react at all! Did I struck a mine ??? SH3 commander says nothing usefull too Summary Oberleutnant z. S. and U-52 were lost sometime on 12MAY40.
