This is how to resize the submarine marker that you see in free view.
You need to make your own mods since I have no place to host this. You need to do this for each sub !!!! Using Silent 3ditor by skwas v.8.2 beta, open the .cam file of the sub's maker you wanna change. I'll use the NSS_Balao NSS_Balao.cam file. Navigate to 6: UnitMark > 7: UnitMark ( sub folder ) an in the right pane you'll see XDim = 4 an YDim = 4 ( Default Values ) Change these two values to what value you'd like. Smaller values make the marker smaller an larger values make the larger. I use XDim = 16 an YDim = 16 an can see the sub marker in free view at a good distance. I find this usefull when I'm crusing 'round in free view an can see were my sub is in all the surrface mess ![]() |

try using the one from sh3, the "data/misc/UMark" file, its a brighter shade of color and much easier to see than the one they made for sh4, i think sh4 made it slightly transparent as well as darker and a less visable shade of orange, thats why it doesnt stand out as easy

I made my own sub marker using a pic of Alfred E. Newman, from the mad magazine, over my own arrow.... works....
