Default GWX 2.1 Weather

I have to say that the variable weather you get on patrol with GWX 2.1 is great. Much improved on what it was before . My sincere thanks goes to the GWX team for incorporating this mod into GWX and to Stiebler and Subtype Zero for creating this mod in the first place.

Ditto. I've certainly noticed a difference.

EDIT: I should add that I run with some extra mods added, like OLCE2. These mods may be contributing to the difference observed.

Not really noticed any difference yet. 7 days into my first patrol, and I've had nothing but clear weather and calm seas.

Wait until the second one. I had a full week of rain and poor visibility - and poor is really, really poor. Variable wind, though, from 6 to 15 m/s and then again to 9, 10 - all kind of wind speeds. All in all, very realistic. Good job, GWX team

It is the first time i'm using GWX and I can only compare it with stock SH3,
I used to hate the weather before, but now in GWXX 2.1 I love it.

I`m on my 4th patrol in 2.1, and have run into all types of weather, really great to see the various changes in it. Last night I ran into heavy fog, that really looked like fog, most enjoyable. Puts

Real fog? That sounds promising. I haven't played enough to encounter fog.

One of the very few things I miss about SHII was the rolling fog, and parts of ships looming in and out of it.

Have just finished a comparison test between GWX 2.1 scene and all other scenes and must conclude, this is the best ever!
Sharp, crisp, great colours. Big thanks to those who did it!

And yes! the fog is excellent!

Night darkness is perfect on my LCD (= can't see anything).
Weather is "perfect"! Excellent variation!

Seen poor visibility with rain like in the previous post, but never seen dense fog without rain.

I am still in the first days of the war, but had lots of weather changes. Refreshing!

Spoke too soon, got to my patrol grid, and the weather closed in - rough seas, cloud and rain
