It starts on 01 August. I have Balz sight seeing on a goodwill cruise of the channel ports. Great scenery and a totally different feel.

The whole idea here is to allow you to be in the convoy lanes once the war starts and hit the British from the 3rd of September

Has anyone tried sitting in a Brit port when the war starts? (hoping there is no DD's near)

I was thinking of pulling into Dover and when I get the message, I will let loose with my eels on the unprepared ships in port.

I did this once when SH3 was fairly new... you will notice the campaign starts a couple of days before hostilities begin.

if you turn on unlimited fuel and proceed ahead flank to a close british port you can make it in time for the war to start but with hours to spare.

i submerged next to a concrete dock and waited for the war to begin and proceeded to sink several ships.

i dont recommend it in GWX though.
