Hello!
After 3 years of playing SH III I am beginning my 1st career with a "big" IXC/40 boat. For this I`ve some questions: - At which speed I am reaching my maximum range? - What`s the crash-depth of this boat-type? - Are there any camouflage -skins available for that boat? (I later want to go for the far east) I am playing GWX 2.0. Thank you very much! Christian |

leave port and try out the different speeds while asking the navigator what the range at current speed is
take a test dive to see how deep you dare to go and then when you are really in trouble from escorts, think about whether or not you dare to go any deeper ![]() immersion is everything, much more fun to actually be scared for your boat and crew while taking her ever deeper but that's just my opinion

7-8 knots will give you maximum range

Hello guys!
Thanks for your answers ![]() Especially Steed`s 3rd Skin is a very nice one. I love these camouflages ![]() I joined the 10th flottilia in feb `42 and hardly survived my 1st missions.. From my 1st in front of Norfolk I returned with 34% as a Liberty coming suddenly out of the fog rammed me. I said "thank you" by sinking it. In all I sunk 3 ships. From my 2nd mission (Trinidad & Tobago) I returned with 57% as the aerial survillance was quite tight and its almost impossible to dive in time when 1-mot-bombers are appoaching you... Engaging my AAA-guns I lost 2 men... 8 ships sunk ![]() Today I am on my 3d patrol somewhere between Portugal and the Azores... Christian |
