i said it before, my money's on iran. Think about it..

If they cut the data cables, it severely limits the wests methods of command and control... not entirely obviously due to backup methods ie satellite and radio, but it hampers it nonetheless.

Looks around for elite...where's the Conneticut, Seawolf, or finally...Jimmy Carter right now...at this moment? Do we have all three stationed in the middle east waiting for the moment to deploy special forces or their TLAM's? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And what do you know of the Middle-East, great rich Canadian Born-Again Christian who despises the Jews and loves Communism?

Brag,

If it wasn't for the ancient Mesopotamians, you wouldn't have the eventual democracy or government command of any kind. Also keep in mind that some of history's greatest rulers haven't lived/ruled in a democracy. Emperor Augustus? Ramses II? Pharaoh Khufu? Henry V? What about Kaiser Wilhelm II? In the case of the Middle-East, they try. It's hard, but dammit they try. Unfortunately, most end up like Bhutto or the Shah.

Well, when Iran gets it's "Internet Satelites" in orbit with it's new "Spaceflight Program", it won't need those old unreliable self cutting cables anymore.

Strap a rocket to the tower of a mosque, then rejoice as spaceflight is now ethnically diverse
