Apologies gents but I've done a few searches using "battlestations" and "key" but it's obviously buried somewhere in the numerous threads.
Q: How do I assign the "B" key to Battlestations? I know it's in a config file somewhere but damned if I can find it. Thanks. |

It's in .....Data\Cfg\Commands.cfg
[Cmd436] Name=Toggle_battle_stations Ctxt=1 Key0=0x42,,"B" (add the red line) but this command also uses the B for binocular view [Cmd544] Name=Adv_Binocular_camera Ctxt=11 Key0=0x42,,"B" Don't know if that would cause any problems or not since they are in different contexts, but if you were on the bridge and hit B you'd get the binoculars for sure. If you don't use the binoculars command, you could just comment out the key for cmd544 with a semi-colon [;] |

Use the SH4 Keyboard Config Application to assign any key combination you want. Personally, I use Ctrl+B to Toggle Battle Stations.

Thanks gents;
the middle mouse gets the binos so reassigning the 'B' key shouldn't be a problem. Have a great Hogmanay and all the best for the New Year. |
