Default GREAT hunting in Calais

I was enroute thru the channel last evening heading towards my patrol sector in late 1939 and decided "why not swing by Calais and see what is there"..

And what do i see... 12000 tons of sitting duck along with 2 more tankers, 2 merchants and a V&W. All told, 30k tons in 25 minutes.. and the only offensive ship i see, a torpedo boat..

One fish to that 12k ton tanker is all it took, but now i'm heading home, as i only have 2 torps left and gave up even trying to sail to my patrol zone.

Tool.

Oh, oh --I see a neutral ship burning. Perchance, your torpedo? Onkle Karl will not be happy.

Hmm, the port is red and the flags were blue, white, red vertical bars, which according to the web is France.. and we are at war with them. The V&W had flags of England flying, as did a few other ships including the torpedo boat that was bugging me.

We shall see when i return to port i guess...

Perhaps the Frenchman responsible for the blackout enforcement was elsewhere, you'd better hope so or it will be a sunny wall, a cigarette and blindfold of your choice for you...

I RTB and wasn't punished, but did sink 13k tons of Neutral ships.. oops..

Only got 300 reknown for it.. not good considering over 38k was sunk. I never made it to my patrol sector so maybe that hurt it a lot..

It should be considering there isn't a "front" there yet
