Do you usually navigate your boat all the way back to port, avoiding warships, enemy planes, possibly even mines, while keeping an eye on the fuel guage, listening to the same tired records, and sneaking in to peek at Karl's latest pin-up?
Or do you zap right home as soon as torpedoes are spent, via the amazingly futuristic particle disruptor/reassember device? (Not sure exactly where the PD/RD is located. Somewhere behind the head, I think. It was invented at the end of '38, or so it is rumored. Apparently High Command wanted to particle disrupt the entire city of London and reassemble it somewhere in Siberia, but for some reason the device only seems to work on U-boats...)
