Default Strange Things Happening..

Hey all,

For a while now, I've been trying to find my screenies, I do the required Ctrl-F11, and then go and look in my SH4 folders, (all of them) I go through each and every one of them.. and I find nothing. Last night I was palying and was required to do a recon of Signapour and Manilla harbours, after taking the shots I greedily took a shot at a Large Tanker.. (please bear with me this is all relevant.. somehow..) and was sunk trying to get out of the shallow waters.

Now afterwards I though I'd and read or distract myself some other way.. however, going through my weekly purge of unwanted/un-needed documents on my computers files, I checked the "Recently Changed" folders.. and I finally found the "photo requisites" the file with SH4 and the date of the photos, however on closer inspection it appeared to be the photos of the harbour that I shot!

How can I find my photos and has anyone ever seen this (recon photos as actual photos..) Help would be greatly appreciated, and many thanks in advance for those kind enough to help.

With Regards,

Krauter

Default If I'm not mistaken...

They would be in your My Documents\SH4 folder with your game saves. I just deleted mine to start over with all of ROW activated and haven't had to take any pictures yet, but I remember there being a Photos or Pictures folder in there that had my old recon photos.

It's not the recon photos im looking for.. its the screenies that i take.. As said above, I've already checked out the Documents/SH4, etc in fact I've checked all the folders with even the remotest connection to SH4.. still no photos.. is there something I need to check on my computer so I can view them?

With Regards,

Krauter

Screenies are supposed to be in the Root SH4 directory ("C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\") but I seem to recall that Vista won't let you do that...

XP Forever...

I dont think I have Vista.. actually I think we do have XP, however, I remember RDP or tater mentioning something about checking a box in one of your directories to view a photo from SH4

Hey Krauter, not sure :hmm: .

As mentioned by JCC, screenshots should be in your main SH4 directory
( "C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\" ) they show up as .bmps'.

Just saw this regarding Vista, it has to do with SH3, but is similar:http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...nd+screenshots
I saw that you are fairly sure you have XP, can you confirm this.

I had the same problem, I too have vista. when you go into the programfiles/ubisoft/SH4 root directory, you will see an option wherre u have view and stuff like that that says compatibility files, click on that, that will allow you to see the screenshopts that you took during game.
