Default refueling

Hi Kaleun's,

I know there have been similar question's like this so please forgive me...

But i was wondering, when i get a patrol grid which is really far, so far that i have to run very slow or run on normal speed but a refuel is needed, how do i do this exactly?
Untill now i docked at a milk cow ship like for example on the canaries or Vigo, but when i do that i press the esc. button and choose "dock at..."
When i restart the mission afterwards my mission goals are changed, they no longer tell me to go to the grid i was heading to, instead my orders are just to dock at my home port (Lorient)
Am i doing something wrong?

Thanks and good hunting!

You're not doing anything wrong, SH3 considers your patrol over when you dock at the refueling ship. I think you can use some function of SH3 Commander (I don't...) I use a program called SH3 Patrol to fix the stop time and to reassign a destination grid.
Otherwise it's free hunt...

When you stop to resupply, the game will start you on a new patrol a month later without grid orders.

I recommend SH3Patrol. I found the doc a bit difficult to understand, but it's not too difficult to use once you understand how it works. You can assign yourself the original grid and/or decrease the number of days in port.
