Default GWX and my dear Hartlepool

So I've finally made the move from stock to GWX, and aside from a crappy looking hull on my boat, I LOVE IT!

Hartlepool used to always be my first port of call at the outbreak of war. On GWX I had not tooo much trouble, one DD and a Armed Merchant.

Heavy Fog and early morning, a good many KM away, could jsut see the lighthouse lights. When BANG! No incoming rounds noise. Just the screaming from my bridge staff. So All stop.

Havea look about, no mines. BOOM! Hit amidships, and I die.

What in the name of Berhards Chicken Curry was that?

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Submarines like to be underwater with lots of room to dive much deeper. For visiting ports, take the ferry in 1946. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Perhaps consult the Communists for help when that time comes.

Mines are buggers to contend with, eh?

For you, Herr Kaleun, the war is OVER.

Not to keen on been submerged. Like to get seen, brings the DDs into sight, then jsut quietly slip away, knock out afew heavys and then slip past them again. Or shoot at them lol. Am a member of the suicide squad of Mohr! lol!

Wasnt a mine. As we were dead i nthe water when the second explosion ripped amidships.

Yeah but as I said didnt hear any incoming, or the crack of shore batterys. No idea what it was. Meh prob never know.

GWX guns are accurate...first time a Shore Battery opened up on me....*shivers* Hartlepool is great though in 1939. You can get there jsut before war is declared.

I think that Hartlepool as been visted at least once by us who play GWX. At least the ones who aren't afraid of shallow waters.:rotfl:

Shallow waters... Can be fun. For some reason DDs get caught in the sub nets. Spesh up at the sub base.

i like to hear that
you didnt hit a mine (i went trough every inch of hartlepool)
one of the "guards" spotted you and then the fun started.
what i do is search for them and let them follow me. meanwhile i blast the crap out of them

when you are far enuf off shore they forget you were there and go back to sleep (until you blast again)
