Wolfpacks in GWX

Is this an option?I sure wish it is,since it was a great german sub tactic in 43-44 as i recall.
Ps can`t get over that training course in torpedoes,i run out of torps,or one ship didn`t sink,or i lost track of 3 of them.I wan`t to know what awaits for me when i will actualy begin my career,and by God i won`t begin it unless i finish my exams excelling.

There are AI U-boats. When you see a round convoy symbol, it means U-boats are messing with it. Good luck with the academy. See you soon in the high seas!

I seen conveys supposedly attacked by wolfpacks in the SH3Commander, GWX mod campaign but I don't think you can actually see them in action, just see the effects of one happened. Either that or I am drinking too much coffee.

There are AI U-boats scripted into the game that will attack convoys....sometimes they are in sufficient numbers to be classed as a wolfpack...I have a picture somewhere which I'll fish out for you

There you go...you'll notice that the furthest sub is already being fired upon by the convoy

That's awesome, the convoy I saw had lots of bunrning ships with some of them having torpedo marks on their side. Though no other u boats were in the area.

no other u-boats fire torpedoes. i really hope to some day see a mod in SH3 that has PT boats, Schnell boats and AI subs fire torpedoes somhow or another.

I have found a wolfpack of 4 subs moving around off the coast or portugal. joined them for a few days, even sent a contact report after breaking off from them and i was only about 40 km away from them and they never responded. didnt think they would - just curious though.

What you've come across there is a convoy that's already been mauled off AI subs
