Drinks Are On Me!!!

6 April 1940

U-46 Returned from the 4th consecutive patrol during which it bagged a battleship.
The last one being a Revenge in a task force.

To celebrate these major sinkings, a Knight's Cross with oakies, and 97,000 tons for the patrol: The drinks are on me!

wow the best i have done is through a series of 4 patrols... 1st patrol sank an illustrius carrier, 2nd patrol sank a nelson, 3rd patrol sank a rodney, 4th patrol damaged an illustrious carrier but didnt observe sinking and was not credited with the sinking of the 2nd carrier.

great work man, may i ask where you are finding such tonnage? Northwest side of UK perhaps?

The best tonnage grabbing areas I've found so far:

Northern half of Gulf of Cadiz, Draw a line from Strait of Gigraltar to edge of the shallows off Cape Sao Vicente. -- Be ready to crash dive, lots of aircraft even early in the war.

East -west line 20 kms. south of nordern edge of AM51.

North-south line just east to Cape Verde Islands.

Just East of Belle Isle Strait (near Scapa)

BF 14

Good hunting

Congratz on your promotion, Mohr.

I took command of U-123, a shiny new IXB
Sailed from Willi just before sunrise on 22 May 1930. BDU is sending me back to approaches to Gibraltar.
