[TEC] sub.sim files

Can anyone better explain what the values in the NSS_*.sim do? What would increasing/decreasing them do etc etc Any information would be nice, sucks randomly editing each entry and then waiting 10 minutes for the game to load to try and figure out what each one kinda does.

Im mainly interested in the entries under the general section of those sim files:

restr_dist
max_traverse
min_traverse
speed_traverse
max_elevation
min_elevation
speed_elevation
trav_min
trav_max
elev_min
elev_max
mass
gc_hieght (seems to affect the center of gravity)
fr_ratio
put_on_water
displacement_surfaced
draught_surface
drag_surface
displacement_submerged
draught_submerged
drag_submerged
