Phew! GWX will not forgive mistakes.

Stock SH3 was easy, on the other hand GWX tests you to the limit, you make one small mistake out there and those Brit destroyers and friggin tugg boats hunt you like rabid pit bulls.
On sneaking though the channel to reach BE31, I just couldent resist this juicy 6000 ton merchant, it was just asking for it, floated right across my bow, anyway I sank it, big mistake, I took a whole day to evade the Brit pit bulls and I have to admit most of my escape was pure luck, I have learned a lesson here, don't get to cocky or you'll end up on the bottom and the only real safe time to surface in clear weather is when you have no sound contacts.
All in all, a fantastic experience, talk about getting engrossed.

Lets be careful out there.

Better yet : DON'T enter the Channel!Go the long way around Scotland!Shallow waters are to avoid at all costs in GWX!

Stay away from the Chanal.
DD are getting anoyed in 1940, Even a armed trawler getting anoyed too in early stage 1939, circle above me(2 days) and they call a DD for back-up, gheez...
Lucky i change course(dead-silence) and made home..

Also stay away from shallow water even there is a convoy heading toward you...
you will be SANDWICHED

And most inportant of all. a dozen of blind luck!!! that you survive that mission to make home!!!
