Default Best times for a Visit

Ok so i have GW 1.1 And was wondering when is the best time to visit Normandy for D-Day and Dunkirk Harbor for Operation Dynimo? i've looked up the events online and know their start dates but from other captian's experience when is the best time to sink large easy targets for those events?

I know in Dunkirk when the BEF was being exavacuated they used smaller vessels to bring the troops to larger vessels that would take them to england. so im guessing that these larger vessels were probably stationary targets waittng to pick up troops. So what day does this happen? or does it not happen at all?

Yep. Stay out of the channel as much as possible. It's shallow, heavily mined and patroled by the Royal Navy. It's simple: You try to get in there you die

Not sure if Dunkirik is modeled for Operation Dynamo in GW 1.1 . It certainley is in GWX. I've taken both a type II and VII there between 26 may and 30 May and found tons of targets. There are usually 2 Liners , an Aux cruiser, a few Troop transports and a slew of others there sitting still waiting to be sunk.

Normany is also modeled in GWX according to the manual. I have never been there nor do I want to be. That's definitley a one way mission on or after June 6.

No Dunkirk isnt modelled in GW
Nor Normandy

They are just a couple of the many historical missions that were added to GWX
