Help with Rank.

Is there anyway i can give myself a promotion, the game isnt promoting me. Here are my stats.
1: 21 Patrols for 121 Days
2: Sunk 71 Merchant ships for 470664 tonnage
3: Sunk 10 Warships for 12345 tonnage
4: I have all of the medals
5: I have an experienced crew, some of my officers outrank me.

So i have the newest edition of SH3 Commander and thats it everything is pretty much stock. So Can someone please help me?
