Default Is there something wrong with my water?

After one and a half day fighting with CTD (possibly related with RLE compression in one big .tga file?), I think I have another problem - or maybe not?

The water have some weird pattern - I don't remember now if its normal or not. You can see it on this screenshot:

So, is it normal, or there is something wrong? It doesn't look too good in game. I am using latest OLC environment. No anisotropic filtering, 2x antyaliasing, vsync on (those are the highest possible settings for my pc).

Indeed, I thought that I am posting this in the SH3 workshop forum, but I made some mistake I do not wish to spam the forums, so I will wait here after all.

I have the same texture, and no I'm not using MEPv3 (Or at least that i know of, whats that stand for?).

But I think it makes it more realistic IMO. I used to race sailboats, and it really looks like the minute ripples the wind would make as it gusted over the water. Being able to read those ripples was key.

Course this kinda looks like a golf ball. It's probably just a side effect of what ever the algorithm is that computes wind vs wave

I've seen that many times before and in many environments that I've downloaded and tried out.

I seems to be a type of honeycomb pattern in the polygons that are used to make up the waves. They get accentuated by the reflection of the directional light (sunlight) at certain angles, usually when the sun is low.

The only way that I have found to tone them down is to reduce the reflection and other values to unrealistic levels, so I live with them.
