Is this supposed to start from Kiel or is this a bug? I'll have to squeeze through the straits of Dover and Gibralter, but OK if I end up being reassigned to a base in the Med. Just checking before I have to do it twice for the potential return trip.

This is with TWoS, yes? You’re right, your objective is to go from Kiel to La Spezia through Gibraltar. Though IIRC you can start a patrol in Kiel, immediately end it, then start a new one, and you’ll spawn at La Spezia.
