[REL] HNLMS Zwaardvis Submarine Mod

Hello guys!

I'm back after a long time, due to personal **** and a harddrive crash i havent been able to be active on this forum, but here i am again,bringing you the Zwaardvis, a Dutch submarine of the Zwaardvis Class.

The Zwaardvis-class submarine (Dutch: "Swordfish") is a conventional attack submarine that replaced the Dolfijn class in the Royal Netherlands Navy. Zwaardvis is based on the U.S. Navy Barbel class with the teardrop hull design. In September 1981 the Republic of China (Taiwan) ordered two modified Zwaardvis-class submarines, the Chien Lung/Hai Lung class. In 1992 a repeat order for another 4 boats was turned down by the Netherlands government because of pressure from the People's Republic of China. The two Dutch boats have been replaced by the Walrus class.

The two decommissioned Dutch boats, Zwaardvis and Tijgerhaai, were loaded onto a ship and transported to PSC-Naval Dockyard, Lumut, Malaysia in anticipation of purchase by the Malaysian Navy in 1997. However, the Malaysian Navy declined the offer and chose the French Scorpène class instead. The two boats are still in Lumut awaiting a buyer and possible refurbishment.

I tried it out in a single mission and noticed it has no torpedoes of its time. Apart from that nice work.

There's torpedoes in mine STEED. I'm doing Stock v1.5 for this mod, with nothing else added in. I can start in the boat in Pearl Dec 8, 1941, or in the Quick Mission he made "Blow Stuff Up", and I've got torps both ways, and they do blow-up when you hit something. Only problem I have (especially in the Quick Mission) is that the other boats are faster than mine, and that's not fair! They get to sink all of the merchants before I can get there... So I sank them instead... If you make your own missions, make the mission after you install the mod... - there is a 2nd thing that somewhat bothers me, and that's the deck crew... too chummy...

Yea I know, what i was saying that i did not put across clearly was it has no modern torpedoes that this sub would of had. Would be nice if possible they were added.

Sorry 'bout that mate... my English-to-English translator (brain) bodged the interpretation... - it's in plain The King's English: "it has no torpedoes of its time", but to the translator, it was "no torpedoes". Mark 14s are definitely ~NOT~ modern weaponry... dum-dum here is out of my mind!
