Question: I have version 1.2, do they make a disc for version 1.4 or 1.5 or do you have to update 1.2 with a patch. Since not to good at the computer things, how do you get the patch and how do you download the patch.
Or do you have to download a mod to the version 1.2 to upgrade it to 1.4 or 1.5.
So any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

You can find the v1.4 patch for SH4 here.

That being said your better off getting v1.5 which can be found in the Subsim Store and is called Silent Hunter 4 Gold Edition. Scroll down the page and you'll find the info.

v1.5 is what most mods these days are made for nowadays.
