Open Horizons bug???

I have been getting this black / white screen after I save and come back later on. So, little by little, one by one, I would remove an addon and try again. I've finally narrowed it down to Open Horizons. Without OH, I can't get to 1945. Why on earth would the developers only take the war to 1943 is beyond me.

I have tried OH 2; 2.3; 2.4; and Open Horizons 2.5. They all end with the same results. I'll start a new career over, head out to open sea, save it, exit the game, come back, and reload where I left off. And what I get is so dark in contrast it is obviously unplayable. Any suggestions?

Are you a steam user?

Can you post your mod list?

In “JSGME”

Go to “Tasks”

Go to “Export activated mod lists to”

Click on “Clipboard”

Paste to your Post.

Should not be a problem with OHII v2.5

Hi

If you are trying to use those mods with OHII then it is quite likely the cause.

You are using some odd ball ones and also the outdated IRAI needs a patch.

These 3 all work without ctd's.

Yea, I do have some odd-ball ones but after playing "real" for some time, I've kind of enjoyed laying back and just laying waste to the enemy for a round. Then after that campaign, back to realism. I play mostly realism (well.... up to 67'ish%).

You are right!! THANK YOU!!!!! I now have the war going up to 1945. However, there are some mods I want to keep, I just need to find the exact one that is conflicting with the OH Mod and not turn that one on. But when I just turn on OH by itself, it works!!

Now I'll just do trial & error and find the culprit that is causing the graphics bug and squash it. Once I find which of my oddball mods is causing it, I'll report back.
