Default FFG Guns and Shore Targets

set up a quick mission with no defense. put a SAM site on shore and then hit it with guns ~ ended the mission after a short salvo ~

debrief stated target was undamaged...

went back in and used the helo hellfire and backed out of mission.

debrief stated target destroyed ~

do the guns damage shoreline stuff like same sites and buildings?

i wanted to start making some missions and what not with some random units popping in for replayability ~

also i'm assuming the surface radar does not spot these targets so i would have to have them set to reveal at start ~

what about recon with helo?
could i have the mission set to be a shoreline recon and send the helo out to try to spot these sites if i did not want to have them set to reveal at start?
