Don't you just love it?
So playing a game suddently at random my PC freezes completly... (still image and the sound is humming constantly) but no BSOD appears... time to press the reset button......computer restarts...no Beep and no signal on the monitor. press Reset again....no dice press Reset again....computer powers down....and after 3 or so second it boots up but no beep and no screen. leaving the PC turned off (without any power) for a short while and then boot up...it starts to work again...just to freeze again at any attempt of playing a game for a bit. ![]() but still it pisses me off ![]() HunterICX

Now you just need to sort out the Spanish electricity companies.
My suggestion, go and wave a cucumber at them in a threatening manner. ![]() |

Agree, if not a fan problem then I would say a part is dying, the problem is finding it, most likely motherboard or video card, try with an old card, also if your system is overclocked try running stock!

![]() ![]() the issue happend twice when running AvP (alien vs predator 2010) in DX11 mode...giving it like 5 - 10 minutes play time before my PC would lock (though once it did just after closing it and tried to talk through teamspeak and it immediatly locked up my PC and giving me that boot up issue after reset) strange... the temps I could monitor where the GPU and CPU GPU would on heavy load be around 70 - 72ºC CPU on 100% load 60-67ºC and when placing my hand on the PSU casing doesn't feel hot to me.... Right another theory....
we have a problem in the house hold with the electricity lately. sometimes at a random time during the day/night the voltage drops down to 130V according to the UPS monitor(normally our house should be 220-230V) lights start to flicker and devices turn off or go nuts like their stanby lights go become discolights or make klicking noises well I have a UPS that will kick in the battery when the power drops too low...but it doesn't when measuring 210v could this cause my PC to hang up or turn off at any random moment because it just can't juice my components enough? I think the term is ''Brownout''
I'll wait till the issue of our electricity is resolved before I suspect the PC is going nuts on me. as said I do have a UPS which kicks in when the voltage drops too low so my PC doesnt shutff off unless the battery is drained, but it does nothing when there's a slight drop like 210ish which I think is already too low when running a PC which needs to be juiced to run stuff. also can Brown Outs damage components? even if there's a UPS between it.
