Default New song/video "So Many Different People"

Hi guys, new song & video uploaded to YouTube, this one is more upbeat and lighthearted then the last one but still deals (I hope in a humourous manner) with the issue of intolerance. The song is called "So Many Different People" and can be found here.

I hope you enjoy it. If you do like it I'd greatly appreciate it if you could share it with your friends and get the word out. Thanks a million

I'm a one man band at the moment so I'm playing all the instruments, singing and recording as well as putting the video together, my daughter did the drawings

Thanks guys, I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out and for commenting as does my daughter. She's 12 and chuffed to bits at your responses.

I like it

I like it much more than your previous song, because of the much heavier guitar. But then again, what can you expect from a metalhead like me?

Hope to hear more songs of you in the future

That was really good, nice riff. The art fit the video well, kudos to the artist.

Cheers guys thanks for listening and commenting

@DarkFish I'm a metelhead myself: Rammstein, Type O Negative, Tool, Ministry etc but for some reason a lot of my own songs turn out to be more mellow for some reason, don;t know why but I am trying to write heavier music. Glad you like this one.

@ longam thanks mate, glad you liked it. My daughter is already over the moon with the praise she's gotten so far she'll be thrilled when she see's this in the morning

Type O Negative, awesome band Too bad Peter Steele died...

As longam says, it's got a really nice riff. What I like about your other song is the folkish sound (kinda reminds me of Flogging Molly). Now combine the two and you're gonna be a folk rock/metal star

Very nice. Good hard edge, but not metal to my mind because you're not screaming and I can understand every word (thank you for that).

@ Jean-Louise: Nice job.

Very good, catchy riff and a good message behind the tune.

PS. The drawings were a nice touch, thumbs up for your daughter!

Steve! You of all people should know Metal has nothing to do with screaming!

You're right about it not being metal though, but for the wrong reasons.
The bass is not heavy enough, the main riff is slightly high-pitched (not a reason on itself) and has too much of a hard rock feeling, the guitar just misses this thickness required for metal, the distortion could be in a different setting to get it a bit "warmer", and the drums are too slow.
(These aren't bad things, they're just reasons why it isn't metal)

Very good song, and I really mean that. But it isn't metal (I don't think you wanted it to be metal per se anyway)

You are quite right, I wasn't trying to make it a metal song, just a more hard, rockier song then the last one which was very downbeat due to the depressing subject matter. I'm really glad you liked it
