There you are running silent and doing everything to get rid of the pesky destoyers. Then my 1WO got hurt somehow . I tell my navigator to plot a new course and he plays with the helm so i,m effectively out of silent running . Hey 1WO rig for silent running. But no the 1WO is " injured " Nein nicht muglich he says. I guess he got some brain damage that prevent him from telling the crew to go silent running but has no problem telling me how good the german reich is blah blah blah. How annoying. Now the destroyers have a easy day because now my torpedo crew desided to start loading the eels again and there is no way to tell them to stop loading . Donitz give me a medic on the next patrol (if i ever make it home myself) Or even better give me a Luger if its getting personal and a MP-40 for the most desparate situations.
