Default How do i operate/turn the hydrophone wheel ?

Hello,

Edit:
Sorry, found out accidentally - turning the mouse wheel does the trick - however is there a faster method, or another key or combination ?

i usually rely on my sonar guy, but he has let me down so often (has not got much experience (points) yet) that i wanted to listen myself.

I can teleport to the hydrophone station, or go their manually, leftz clicking on the place - and then i sit there like Buddha and hear some louder noise, but i cannot figure out how to turn the wheel !
Left-clicking the mouse on the wheel or the circle does, and then moving or whatever does not turn the pointer ...

I remember it worked with the vanilla version - has TDW's mod something to do with it (doubt it), or what do i have to do ?

Thanks and greetings,
Catfish

Hi,

I have Church's SHV 1.01 Keyboard Commands v1.1 and i can move pushing ,,HOME,, or ''END'' keys.

Maybe it is workin even if you do not have the Church's SHV 1.01 Keyboard Commands v1.1 installed. I do not know!

Those are part of the defualt keys and I believe are even shown with the F1 Key Map. For a complete list of all default keys and TDW keys check out my sig below for Quick Start Guide.

In standard SH5 1.2 key layout, "home" and "end" keys will also rotate the wheel clockwise/counterclockwise. For best results, order all stop; the faster you go, the more the background noise will wash out the fainter contacts.

You can also modify the "commands.cfg" file to have your soundman call out contacts on his own on a more regular basis.

Hello,
thank you all for the tips !
Moving slow for detection is mandatory, but to change a file that the sonar guy gives contacts by himself should be included in every mod !

Thanks and greetings,
Catfish
