Preparing to Get Underway (BALZ)

Bernard stood on Dock 3 in Wilhelmshaven and watched Balz work his brushes on the conning tower of U-45. "Is that a frog you are painting?" He asked.
"No, it's a prince in a frog suit."
Bernard cleared his ththroat. "Neither a prince nor a frog are belic enough symbols. We need something fierce like a tiger or a wolf, or a shark, or a swordfish."
Balz put his brush down. "You are a struddel-head. Nothing more belic than a frog. Now, take those practice torpedoes back to the warehouse and bring me torpedoes that go kaboom and fit my electro magnetic personality."
"Aren´t we gonna practice any more?"
"Frogging Tommies, frogclaimed war on us so we are going to frog them and their frogging ships with my froglivity for big kabooms. That´s frogging war and frogging belic talk. Bring me some kaboomniferous frogging torpedoes."


Bernard took out his notebook and wrote something down. "How do you spell kaboomniferous?"

Balz placed all his brushes in the thinner bucket and tossed the paint bucket at Bernard. "Move, you Struddelkopf before I have you frogged."
