Hi everyone. The really slow acceleration times were driving me crazy on the longer missions. So I figured out how to increase time acceleration in Dangerous Waters. Woohoo!

Very cool! I haven't been playing DW lately and it's mostly because of the time compression. Looks like I'll be taking my 688i out for a spin this morning. Thanks for the tip.

I have successfully played with no lock-ups with MaxTimeScale set to 64 (original value being 16).

Be careful if you want to play with RA addon, their recommendation is to limit time scale to maximum 8.

You also must take into account that such value may not be achievable. With many ships in the mission, even 16 may not be 16 in reality. Just try to measure how much time game minute took.
