Yeah...In the aftermath of these fires I'm predicting a slew of 3-D animated Koala movies in the near future now that penguins are passe.

I heard a rumour that some people copped snaps of a couple of drop bears at a backyard pool out bush somwhere.

That'd be a sight to see..

Cook one up and you'd have all sorts of govt and NGAs on your back.

They're a protected species. Unlike Roos, which thrive in grasslands when trees are felled, these little guys need as much old-growth and solid bush as possible. Obviously, given as we share the same habitable areas and humans need to remove trees, that poses a few problems for the old koalas.

I am going to have to find a video I saw of two Koala's fighting. Funniest thing I have seen in awhile.
