Error ! Can not intialize 3d engine!

I get that message, when I try launch my game ....

I uninstall all and try install game back ... but it s not help?
I chance Nvidia drivers some time ago ... is that reason?

Have anyone see that kind of problem??

(Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 , 2 x Asus 8800GTS 512MB Sli )

If you search for a thread on this forum titled Can not Initialize 3D Engine (RESOLVED), that might give you some tips. Also, put the error message into Google and you will get quite a few links dealing with that problem, and you may well find the answer there...

I try found...
I also chance back old drivers and game working again. But mayby there found some new tips

Yes, ask the Google, for the Google knows all!

Somebody once told me to never use the drivers that come with the video cards. To always go and d/l the current up-to-date drivers.

I have a NVidia Vertigo GeForce 8800 512 MB.

Runs just fine except for some of my older Command and Conquer games.

I found solution

New Nvidia drivers use screen refresh rate 59 hertz defauld in my screen .... so I chance them back 60 hertz, when I install new drivers ... and game start fine

SH3 not know 59 hertz , 60 hertz is ok!
