Error ! Can not intialize 3d engine!
 

I get that message, when I try launch my game ....:o
I uninstall all and try install game back ... but it s not help?
I chance Nvidia drivers some time ago ... is that reason?

Have anyone see that kind of problem??

(Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 , 2 x Asus 8800GTS 512MB Sli )

If you search for a thread on this forum titled Can not Initialize 3D Engine (RESOLVED), that might give you some tips. Also, put the error message into Google and you will get quite a few links dealing with that problem, and you may well find the answer there...

I also chance back old drivers and game working again. But mayby there found some new tips:)

Yes, ask the Google, for the Google knows all!

Somebody once told me to never use the drivers that come with the video cards. To always go and d/l the current up-to-date drivers.

I have a NVidia Vertigo GeForce 8800 512 MB.

Runs just fine except for some of my older Command and Conquer games.

I found solution:up:

New Nvidia drivers use screen refresh rate 59 hertz defauld in my screen .... so I chance them back 60 hertz, when I install new drivers ... and game start fine:)

SH3 not know 59 hertz , 60 hertz is ok!
