Default A problem

After installing SH3 I start the game but it says can`t initialize 3d engine

I just reinstalled everything in my PC and had the same msg: "can not start 3D engine".... I couldn't believe that the 59 Hz refresh rate is what causes that. Tried with 60 and of course, it worked!!!!

I had that problem only when I installed the resolution fix (d3d9.dll or similar) and forgot to register the dll to Windows XP as described in the readme to the res-fix.
